Selecting net and placing component

Hi Robert, I am going through week 1 ( activity 2) of advanced PCB Design course. I have issues with the following:
When i am selecting net for placing decoupling caps, it highlight corresponding balls of the BGA ( looks good) but as soon as I select caps for placement it clears PCB and highlights all the balls of the BGA.
But on the lecture when you are doing the placement, only selected balls are highlighted ( where caps are supposed to go). Is there some settings need to be changed for the way you are doing the placement.

Yes I agree, the old version was better. I told Altium, but I don't think they are going to fix it.
