  • VirtualBox + Guest Additional Disk

    Hello, All.
    I am need some help.

I installed Ubuntu 14.04 on VirtualBox (Lesson 1. Learn the Essentials of creating uBoot, Linux and YOCTO for a board) , but after installing Guest Additional Disk, I could no longer log into Ubuntu. Constantly throws into the login window.
Does anyone know what the problem is and how to solve it?
    My hardware :
    i5-2400, 8Gb RAM, Asus P8P67-M, Windows 10 Pro

P.S. I tried to do all this with an even older machine - everything was installed there without problems

No, I did not have a black screen, but I still got into the video settings of the virtual machine and tried to change them.
Oddly enough the problem disappeared after the tick was removed "Enable 3D Acceleration"
