I want to use this STM dev board on my interface board. So I wondered if the footprints for the headers as well as the 3D model has been published already somewhere. I already made the footprint. It will be nice if I can have the 3D model too. Thanks all for the answers in advance!
            Cheers!

Do you need like 3D model of the whole board or individual components? When I googled for the board ("STM32F407G-DISC1 step file"), this is what I found (but I am not sure if that is what you are looking for):

                  Amazing Robert! Many thanks!!!!

For some reason, I don't get notifications for new comments on the post. I logged in to share my last experience with Altium when I request the 3D model for this part (STM32F4DISCOVERY).
from this website, you can ask them to do 3D models of components there! https://altium.componentsearchengine...artRequest.php

                  Thanks again!

Am I missing something? What design looks great drbikramjitsingh.. And MSleiman, your image shows that they won't make your model... So I am a bit confused here..

Paul van Avesaath I removed drbikramjitsingh posts - many of them are off the topic

Paul van Avesaath. Yes, it is a sad experience with Altium. They said they won't make the model because: "This device is known to be a problem for us!!!!". However, Robert has found one. Link above.

                          Hey guys!

Any idea on how to link the step file to the footprint in Altium 19?
It must be a simple task, yet no success so far!

Maybe this will help - it is about how to create a footprint and also how to assign 3D model to it:
This video is about: Creating Footprints, Adding 3D models, Updating Schematic Symbols, Annotating and Updating Schematic in Altium Designer. See the complete tutorial here: Altium Tutorial for Beg…
