BOM Generation!

Hi Guys,

Recently I was generate BOM for a projects, I see it very dangerous and serious! A little mistake by selecting improper component can cause a big problem in production. How do you face this challenge? Adding link to schematic component dose not help much.

REVIEW schematic, design documentation to see if all is in sync, have checklist (or multiple) to help with that.. review PCB. release

In my experience, you can use variant tool for selecting the parts which need to be montaged. It is very useful tool in Altium.
