Internal layer Type

I was about to set material for internal layer, attached is a screen shot:


Wondering what those options in drop down menu means?

This will help you about understanding core and prepreg (I made the video in PCB factory): ​https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67WhV0EDqCA

But basically:
- Core: material which has copper-isolation-copper (looks like 2 layer PCB, but you can buy it in different thickness)
- Prepreg: just isolation e.g. used to stick two cores together

I am not sure if I have ever used film or surface material (they removed that options from that menu later). But I found a little bit more info here (search for film) - maybe it will help:
