Designator. continue numbering when copying a component

Dear friends. I'm new in Altium..
If i add a component by copy-paste, th designator is off course "?"
When I annotate it resets to number "1"
I want it to continue the numbering.. not reset to "1"

I have off course tried different stuff, but with no luck
Any ideas what to do?

when in annotion screen you can give an index or start number..

it doesn't do it automatically, you can reset all and re-annotate off course then the number will be sequential..(but that might not be what you want)
since altium uses unique ID's it will forward the new desingators to all components with no problem..

other option is to use " place component" and fill in you start number in your case R222 then it will continu after that wiith R223 R224 etc..
