Gerber/NCdrill files units and ViewMate issue

Hi All,

I am generating both gerbers files and NC drill files in metrics as I have design the board in metrics (4:4) .
When I import the gerbers in ViewMate everything is fine, but when I import the NC drill file they are not showed properly (all holes are condensates in the origin).
The issue disappear I generate the drill files in imperial.

Have you had this kind of issue? Do you generally use metric or imperial for gerbers/drill files?

I have seen that - for some reason ViewMate will not show NC Drill files in mm correctly .. for some reason it can not interpret the file as in METRIC.

Maybe it can be somehow manually changed ...I have not really investigate deeper about that.

I just like to use independent software to check gerbers - in case there would be something wrong in Altium. But I know, that many people use Altium's integreated gerber viewer.

Hi, everybody.
I know it's too late, but it may be useful for someone. JLCPCB Gerber Viewer will be also useful if viewmate is not working properly for nc drill files. ViewMate not worked properly for my nc drill files, so i checked nc drill files by JLCPCB Gerber Viewer and result is not bad.
