  • DP83848 footprint problem

    Hello,
I have drawn the footprint of DP83848CVV but after assembling the IC by hand it was to difficult to match my IC on the PCB and I had to change the distance of the pin by another tool. would it be possible to check the DP83848CVV that I have drawn?

I will be grateful if you could take some time to check my footprint.

If you are not sure, print the footprint in Scale 1:1 and put real component on the top of it. That is what I do. Hope this helps.

      I really appreciate your help.
I did it but it doesn't work properly because I can't check these small pins by eyes. I need to know for these kinds of ICs that min/max pin size is mentioned how we can define the pins size.

This is what I use, very useful for footprint checking: https://sk.farnell.com/coil/5408/mag...s-x7/dp/201881

PS: I am working on a video which would give more details about what is important about creating footprints and how you get the numbers for pad size.
