Not able to open Layout section in Altium 19.1.7

Depends on designs. Some are not complicated to import, some are not possible to import (some versions have problems or boards may be for example too complex or using something special), but no import is perfect and has to be checked and adjusted. To import BRD, you may want to install free ORCAD Lite ( https://www.orcad.com/resources/download-orcad-lite ), once it is installed you will have the special file what Altium Import Wizard needs.

i had a lot of difficulty importing BRD files previously .. you need candence installed and run some kind of script in dos to unpackage it.. i could not do it in altium at least.. i hope that is fixed now.. haven gotten to try it lately..

If you are importing a project from Cadence, DSN is for schematic and you also need to import BRD file which is PCB.

Hi,
I'm totally new Altium. I've imported dsn files schematics and symbols are opening but I could not see any way to open the Layout part.
Here's attached the dsn file aswell screenshot on the Altium
