Place Note on PCB?

Hi Guys,

In the schematic editor, we do have a "Place->Note" capability which helps lots to add possible comment or question, I was wondering do we have a similar option for PCB? Can I put a note or add a comment to PCB?

Just place a string on the top / bottom overlay layer, or even in the top / bottom layer to have it done in copper if you don't have a silkscreen.

I do not think there is something similar to Notes in PCB. But as mutski suggested, you can put notes as a text into your PCB, you can even create a special Mechanical Layer for that purpose so your notes do not mix with your design.

PS: I have seen some messaging tool in Altium (I think it was in Collaboration Panel). However, I believe this is only possible if you are using NEXUS or some kind of solution with server.
