You can configure 3D view to show you how the layout is. Altium has this video that shows it

Watch to learn how you can setup and use microvias in your next PCB design.See more How To Videos at: https://resources.altium.com/altium-designer-19-how-to-...

Is it perhaps the remove unused pads?

    Hi,
it seems there is some sort of temporary issue with your version.
May be restarting it should help.

or better update it to the latest.

I tried this on AD20 and it is seen fine for me.

    thanks.

PCB - Issues with uVias view on specific layers

Hello everyone, I'm using Altium 19.1.7 and I'm doing the fanout for the pad in the below-attached images.

    I did the PCB stack-up and I defined a Blind via between L1 and L2 (i.e., Blind 1:2).

Unfortunately, when I place the blind via, it is visible in L1, while it is "hide" in L2 (in monochromatic view). It seems that the uVia does not reach the L2.

Is this a wrong view configuration or what?

Thank you so much in advance!

    Sincerely,
    GM
