  • Time to route DDR3

    Hello,
    I'm going to start the routing of 2 DDR3 to a Zynq7020 in fly-by topology. I am not a newbie of Altium and I know how to route taking into account impedance and matched length, but I've never routed the DDR3 before. I would like to estimate the time it will take me. Do you guys have a guess ? Thanks a lot !

    Often it may take between 1 or 2 weeks, depends on how dense the design it. If you have a lot of space, it will be quick. If you are space limited and you will have to do some re-routing or if you have to do everything from scratch (no re-using layout) it will take longer.
