  • Blanket and compile Mask

    hello , if i want to say that some component in my card are not necessary , should i select them with Blanket or a Compile Mask?

    Hello,
    "Not Necessary" is a bit vague for us to understand what exactly are you referring to.

    - if "Not Necessary" means you do not want the component to be populated in the final build you can use "Do no Fit" in Atlium.
    - Blanket is primarily used to group a number components and set the design rules for them.
    - Compile Mask hides all the objects under it as if they are not at all in the design.


    Select accordingly.
