- the activities are based on a real project, so the connectors will fit. If you are not sure how, you can always check out the finished project. The finished project is included in the activity zip file e.g. APLC-Lesson1-download.zip\APLC Lesson1\Original Boards\iMX6 Rex Module\V1I1\ or you can download it from https://www.imx6rex.com/

Basically, you need to increase Preferences" => "System" => "General" => Advanced => "PCB.ComponentDrag.ConnectionLimit
- Reference Designators are hidden from the silkscreen layer (they would not fit on the board)

Advanced PCB layout - Placement
Hi Robert,
I just started to work on lesson one (Placement). The board is too small for the connectors J1 and J2 to be placed. In your board, there is more space? The other issue is when I try to place the selected connector, there are no wires attached to the board (rats nest)? I thought maybe the Lesson 1 file is corrupted. I downloaded it again, still the same issue. Any ideas what is wrong?
Also, I don't see any ref des on any of the components?
