  • 3D model Rotation,

    Hi Robert,
How did you rotate the 3D model to a "Stand-up" position (Attached)? I used the space bar but couldn't make it stands up next to the header; it rotates in other directions but not upwards?

If you select a 3D model while in 3D view, look to the properties panel and edit the X, Y, and Z angle values.

GCopper if you have available the 3D model and are able to edit it with a 3D CAD software, may be an option create an integrated library or change the model accordling in order to have same orientation with the PCB library footprint, but also rotate the model when ytou import it inside the PCB library may ba a valid choice, anyway when I'm doing my component library I prefer to be consistent through the libraries and then make the 3D CAD with same orientation of the PCB footprint.
      Bye!
