Make mechanical 1 and keep out layers visible (layer names show as tabs at the bottom of the workspace). Set mechanical 1 as active, select the objects you want to move and ctrl-x to cut. Make the keepout layer active and ctrl-v to paste. 🤷 -
Changing Layers!
Hi everyone,
I do have a problem, wondering if you have a suggestion.
The board shape of my design is complex originally drawn in the AutoCAD, but managed to generate DXF, import to AD, and defined the board shape accordingly. It is in mechanical 1, but need to change it to keep out layer. When I select boundary shape in mechanical 1, and select property, the "keep out" is not in the layer list, any suggestion?
