How to create a board outline clearance

Hi everyone!!

I want to create a board outline clearance. What is the recommended way of doing that?

Define a rule under Manufacturing -> Board Outline Clerance or though the clerance rule under Electrical -> Clerance?



Is there another way to do that? Also is it required to have keep-out layer?

The board outline clearance is often bigger than the 'normal' clearance. Recomended >= 0.3mm. So, use the board outline clearance section.
The use of keep-out may be required if additional clearance is needed for special reasons, like mouse bites or V-scoring.
