  • Component management in Altium

    Hello everyone
I was wondering, what is the best way to manage component libraries in altium?
What I mean is, for example, I've created some components for a specific project and I want to be able to re-use these components in later projects, how can I do this efficiently? especially when working with a team?
I have thought about putting the component library in a github repo, but It wouldn't be quick if I want to add more components to the library, I'd have the open the file on the repo and modify it each time.
I think there's a way to add the components to the Altium workspace, but I can't get my head around how to do it.
In short, I want to have a global component library, that I can easily add new components to, and re-use them (me or any of my team members) whenever we need.
    Thank you

Edit: In Autodesk Eagle there's something called managed libraries, the libraries are hosted on a autodesk cloud and any member of the workspace can add new components to it (from the Eagle program) and use any component in it, and it also has version control, I'm looking for something like this. Also it would be a plus if it's possible to use external version control like github, because the altium365 servers fail sometimes.

In Altium the managed library is A365 Pro. I do not use it.

Here is a post I done a while ago: https://designhelp.fedevel.com/forum...5607#post15607
But also have a look here:
I built a database on SQL like in the video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2BxPHTeHC4&t=1271s ) Question: What to do if the database is used by more than one person. Adding a footprint and a symbol is confusing, because when you add an element the second person doesn't have it and the database only provides a connection
