Test pad

I created a components with 2 pads connected for testing (please see attached picture) but this is generating short circuit violation rules. Is there a way to solve these violation only for this test components. Thank you.

Normally you shouldn't do this with a footprint, unless there is no other way to achieve it.

This may be what you are looking for. In Altium they call it "net tie". See more info at: Net Ties and How to Use Them
