Can you avoid breaking connections when moving parts in SCH Editor?

As you move parts in the schematics editor, it seems like existing connections will break, and you have to grab the end of the wire and re-connect every pin one-by-one.
It is very tedious and time consuming. Is there a setting in Altium so that the connections will stretch between a wire and a component pin, as the components are moved?

You can hold CTRL while moving the component to keep the wires connected. However, depending on the particular situation it is quite probably to get some crossing wires that way, since the algorithm is not super smart. You have to play around with it to see how it works. You might need to select some wires/components around the component together with the component itself, if you want to just move those together.
