Maybe what could help is to cover your board with a special substance. Try to search for "PCB coating for waterproof". I have personally not use it, but I know some companies do it. However, I am not sure how much it will add to board price. -
Moisture Senstive Board Design
Hi Guys,
In some application assembled board exposure to moisture is possible and we need to insure that design will stand such condition, in this case
1) what rules we should observe in design time to make sure it will pass it?
2) does it influence component selection or just a resin or some other cover layer will be sufficient?
3) does component placement affect this feature of board?
4) is any tutorial or training available?
