0 ohm vs Jumper?

Hi Guys,

What is difference between 0 ohm resistor and a jumper? Can we use 0 ohm resistor as jumper in power circuits?
Considering the film resistor manufacturing process, can we expect too much current passing through resistor? As 0 ohm, from pure physics point of view someone may say yes, but due to manufacturing process in which a resistor is thin layer forming over a base, probably answer is no.

Good question. I think, some 0R resistors specifically say JUMPER, but I was not really investigating differences (if there are any). Often I only check if they can carry the current I need. (Note: For power rails I often use Ferrite BEADS, instead of 0R)
