I would like to ask you a silly question, What are he GPT (Top Pad Master) and GPB (Bottom Pad Master) gerber files exactly?

I don't know if they are necessary to manufacture.

I know they represent the pads only, on the copper layers. I don't know their intended use, but I never include them in my exports.
