Stuggling to import PCAD-2004 file in Altium

Hello,

I am trying to import a PCAD-2004 to Altium 17.0 version and some how Altium is not able to recognize the file.
Kindly help me understand the cause and solution for this.


The error message which is shown by Altium is " Library file '----location of file----' is not recognized". Please select P-CAD library file.

Sometimes helps if you try to export / import the file into different format ... however I am not sure if this can work in your case.

PS: Do not forget. Once you are able to import the file, often the imported file has to be adjusted (in short, the import is not perfect)
