Ground Plane over the vias

Actually, I was designing a GND plygon on the Top layer of my PCB. I have alot of GND vias on the top . Previously whenever I made any Gnd polygon, it usually covers all the Gnd vias as given in figure 2, but in my new design, the polygon is not covering the whole via but gets connected with it through small traces as shon in fig 1. So I just want to know the difference and what I have to do get the whole gnd polygon over all the gnd vias.
The design rules for both of the polygons are same.

Check settings in Design -> Rules -> Design Rules -> Plane -> Polygon Connect Style
