  • How to add a supplier link to a component in schematic library in new Altium?

    Hi,
during my design about three weeks ago, I selected a component from Mouser but today I made a BOM and I noticed that this component would not be offered by Mouser at the moment. I wanted to add a new supplier link as you (Robert) described it in video tutorial "Course2013Q1L3-1280x720-1000CBR-MEE" but I am using a newer Altium than it is shown in the video and I do not have the option in my schematic library to add a new supplier link.

I can add a new supplier link directly to my schematic document but then I can't update the new information into my schematic library so that I have it for future use.

    I appreciate any tips......

Manu, what Altium version do you have? I can add a new link in AD18 (just click on the Add button):

I have 17. I figured it out, that in supplier search result window, I have an option to add the information of the second supplier (not the import). Thanks anyway.
