Why the ground connection is not checkerboard?

I have iMAX project opened.
Within the PCB, all the connections to the ground are checkerboard.
However, on my own project it does not show up! should I have to enable something?

Preferences > PCB Editor > Board Insight Tool > Checker board

is selected already. In other idea?

Can you attach some screenshots? I am not sure what you mean.
