Eagle .BRD import in altium

    I have recently tried this out..
    To import the (.brd) file, the Cadence Allegro license is must or else the default altium importer will not work at all.

    Altium 10 is quite old. I am not sure what are the possibility to import EAGLE in that version. As suggested by Paul van Avesaath maybe try ASCII PCB Import / Export (?).

    you cant directly, I have done it once a year a go, you need a cadance license to convert it to a ascii file.. and you will have to google a bit to find the commands.
    you can read the ascii file in altium, but it is not very usefull then. If you ever find a better way let me know.. maybe you can get the gerbers instead of the BRD file. you can import these in altium just fine..
