I noticed the missing column too. I also asked on Altium forum:

.. or you can just remove it or use something else instead.

Hi i follow the course Learn to Design Your Own Boards but i have a problem when i generating the BOM. I use Altium 18 and can't find the column "category" ? Can i replace it by another one ?
