Solder Mask Modification

I am happy with the via stitching etc. but could someone tell me how to modify the solder mask as per the attached example. Thanks

There are two ways I can think of. Either enable solder mask expansion for the solid regions properties, so they get uncovered or manually draw the desired shapes on the solder mask layer.

The only way i have found to do it properly is by manually drawing it.

Copy and paste between layers (Edit -> Paste Special -> Paste on current layer) should also work - you just can not move the tracks / polygons then.But yeah, if you need to do it on the top of a big polygon, then you may need to just draw it manually.
