CPCI-Serial

JohnsonMiller , 02-06-2019, 01:49 AM
Hi Guys,

I am looking for some information about CompactPCI-Serial cards? specifically card size and main P1 connector location.
The standard document is very expensive, and I do not need all of it; just mechanical data and signal names. Any help? Do you any tutorial or short form specification?

Regards,

The card you are referring is mini PCIE, I need CPCI-S (CompactPCI Serial), very different.

I have seen Altium's reference designa, they are either CPCI or CPCIe, old or deprecated! The CPCI-S is industrial form of PC's PCI-Express, similar in shape to CPCI/CPIe but a whole new story from signaling. Looks to have bright future and competing with VPX.
