  • Netlist Error.

    Hi Robert,
When I imported the netlist to Allegro I had one error (Attached). I can't figure it out.
    Thanks for your help.

I think I have a special character (!) instead of the number 1 (V!I1) in my project name "ISL6236A PROJECT V!l1" I tried to rename my project, it didn't work is there a way to rename the project?
Do you agree that my project name is what triggered the error?

It is possible. But it looks more like the name of DSN file si problem.

You can try to close your orcad, delete the project file (I think it is the *.opj), rename dsn, open it again and save the project again.

PS: I think, if you do Project -> Save project as ... that should also rename the project. But that may not be what you need.

        Hi Robert,
I deleted the .opj file and renamed the .dsn file to ISL6236A PROJECT V1I1 and opened OrCAD. I got an error that there is no project in my directory .../V1I1

Did you open Design (DSN) file? I believe, DSN file should be always possible to open - without any other files.

And now when you save the project? It should create the opj file.

OK, so far so good, thanks. The top project is .dsn not .opj? and also don't see the Libraries?

How to get the libraries back?
                  Thanks!

Maybe something with PATH? I have seen some discussions about similar topics on this forum, for example maybe this could help? https://designhelp.fedevel.com/forum...unch-footprint
