I can't check that (my old pc died, waiting for a new license), but if this is what I think it is, then these will just do some pre-settings. You will need to go through the settings and adjust them based on on what you need - so I would not really spent too much time analyzing difference between them, just select one of them and see if the settings you need are right.

PS: But if I would guess, one difference will be plating.

I am not an OrCad specialist, but most of these are just different in how you use them.
Mounting is use to mount the board in the final product (housing).
Tooling holes are used to position the board during production.
    Mechanical hole...?
Perhaps they also differ in plating, but again, I know just about nothing of OrCad.

  • Padstack Editor - difference between Mechanical Hole, Tooling Hole, Mounting Hole

    Hi,
I've tried to find out what is the difference for creating new holes in padstack editor.
In this editor I can't find any difference.
Even pictures for this three types are the same.
