Hello Robert. I'm also confused with mech layers for IMX6 rex. There are Mech 1, 16, 29 and 30 available but 16 is completely empty. I believe the mech layers are configured during your creation of the library files. I couldnt find the library files for IMX6 rex either, where can we get it, I believe I need it for fabrication and assembly as well.

And,if you dont use layer 29 for some outline,dot in PIN1,when you ASM top and bottom,what will happen?

I see that some components on open project have mechanicallayer 16?what purpose of this layer?Why you dont use mechanical layer 29 for .Designator, circle on PIN 1?
