Hello Robert,

I would like to know that instead of using the resistors for the USB and PC selection why we have not used a simple "Jumper" or a "DIP Switch" option.

High speed signals are sensitive to layout. They should be routed by certain impedance and properly (as two signals routed together). When you place Jumper or Switch on high speed signal, that can influence quality of the signal and can make it worse. The 0R resistors are also not ideal (you break the rule of good layout), but using 0R will still keep the signal quality ok.
