    Yes you do not have to connect it. Just, be aware, then your software will not know when an SD card was inserted - if you do not need that functionality (e.g. when your SD card will not be unplugged and plugged when your board is running), then you do not have to use the CD switch.

    Using SD CARD ( PUSH-PUSH)

    Hello Everyone,


    I want to use push-push SD Card with the development board. But when I looked at SD Card schematic, I encountered one more pin, Pin name is SD_CD. I have to connect SD Card to my development board but I don't know how can I use this pin. My development board has not an appropriate pin for the switch. Does anyone can help me? I will post the information picture bellow.
