Sim Card Socket Using

FurkanDursun , 07-23-2020, 06:24 AM
Hello Everyone,

I would like to ask a question. I have an MCU Board which includes ESP processor, and I have to connect this Board to Sim Card Socket which Robert used in APLC. How can I use it? Does anyone have any advice about this situation? I attached my board and sim card socket. Thank you all in advance.

My board: https://docs.pycom.io/datasheets/development/fipy/

Does not your board already have a SIM card socket? SIM card is usually connected to the "modem" chip/module.

As per the datasheet you've attached from the Pycom Fipy they're using Sequans Monarch NB/LTE-Module with UART Interface to espressif and Fipy Board has Nano SIM connector on the bottom side of board and SIM Interface signals are not available so you can not.
If you want to you've to use separate Cellular module external.
PS: Please do some research before posting.

I researched many time Mr Lakshmi. My approach is to use external SIM Card Socket. I know that Fipy has nano Sim Card. Can I Connect External SIM Card Socket with TX, RTS, RX, CTS?

No, it's not possible.

As I understand it, I need to use a different GSM module to use the External Sim Card slot. Thank you for your answers.
