DDR Theory and Layout

Hello,

I am new to high speed design, and I would like to know more about it especially the DDR memories, since it is the most dicussed topic on Robert courses, can anybody suggest ressources that can help me build a good understanding of the theory of DDR memories and layout, I don't know how much theory should be sufficient to do the layout succesfully.

For DDR layout basics, there are two important things you may want to learn about:
- length matching
- bit/byte swapping

Probably the simplest way to learn these are design guide. Have a look at NXP design guide .. you will need to register:
