About COM Express Type 6 and PCB Design

Would put components under the COM Express module on the carrier board?

There are several types of the boards and connectors, so it depends on specific cases (for example you can have 5mm stack, 8mm stack). I have seen boards with both - with components and also without components under the module. Probably, the biggest questions would be if there is space for it and what about heat.

My question was more about EMI issues for example.

In my opinion, if layout is properly done and you do not place high noisy circuits there (e.g. power supplies), EMC/EMI should not be a problem.
