Hello,
I would like to ask, can I connect the output of the charger to a boost converter directly?
I am afraid of unbalancing the battery due to the input impedance of the converter, is it correct?

Which output do you mean? Do you mean the BAT pin? I am not expert for charging and I don't know exactly how this chip works, but that doesn't look to me like a good idea. I think, I have seen some better chips which can intelligently switch/route power between input, battery and output and can also charge batteries. I don't remember the exact part numbers, but try to search for something like that.
