  • Opamp output at VCC OFF condition

    Hi,
My requirement is in power off condition i should not feed input voltage to the Processor IO,s (IO i used Level translator)and ADC channels. To do that what i did is i have used LM324LV Op-amp in voltage flower configuration and Opamp VCC will be controlled by Processor.

    Conditions:-
i am feeding voltage input to op-amp Non-inverting Pin (+) and op-amp VCC is OFF.
example : Non-inverting pin input voltage - 0.8V and VCC 0V (OFF) and op-amp configured as a Voltage follower.

    Question:
In this condition what would be op-amp output will be 0V? or 0.8V? or ...?.

This is what we used, page 24: http://www.imx6rex.com/wp-content/up...Production.pdf

PS: Maybe have a look also at analog switch chips. I have never used Opamps for this purpose, but it may depend on the rest of the circuit. Click image for larger version

I have used Analog switch(SN74HC4066DR) for this purpose.
