I do not know what kind of IR LED you would like to use and what exactly you would like to do with them, but for standard IR LED (e.g. the LEDs used in remote controller), there is no really difference between controlling IR LED or visible LED. Just check maximum and required currents through the LEDs + check what is the voltage drop on the LED.Leave a comment:

Dear forum,
I wanted to know one thing regarding LED Driver, RGB LED Driver can be used for IR LEDs also?? to run the multiple IR LEDs? i attached the data sheet of the LED driver...please answer my question...
