Installing linux Host machine

- start the name of virtual machine with Ubuntu .... or try to change the Type to "Linux". Then you should see the correct version.
- once you install it, try "ping www.google.com". There are no special settings for network, it just should work

I also face a problem during the installation. My system is 64 bit system but when I am selecting the version number it is not showing Ubuntu(64-bit) .What might be the problem?
​I know that it is not connecting to internet because it is showing 'X' mark during the Ubuntu installation corresponding to the internet connection

Please, how do you know its not connecting to internet? What kind of error are you getting (please attach screenshot)? It should work oki.

Hi Robert I have problem during the installation, the host machine is not connecting to the internet. I changed the network setting also. Click on Network --->selected the bridge adapter .
