High Speed Design learning. Any TIPS??

xddarko , 05-04-2020, 02:23 AM
Hi,

I want to start learning high speed design but I do not know where to start. I am a someone who favors learning through projects which makes you learn things little by little along the way.
So my question is, can you reccomend me a particular project (open-source preferably) which I can start with?

Thank you !

I suggest you take fedevel advanced pcb layout course. You'll learn how to route DDR3, PCIE, SATA, Ethernet and much more. I'm currently taking it right now and I've learnt so much about high speed design. The course is based on the imx6rex module and baseboard and is fully open source so you can check that out if you are looking for an open source project.

Thank you @Johnnyjax for recomending our courses and for signing up. I only would like to add the links:
- iMX6 Rex projects (you can download a lot of files, including altium projects of complex boards): https://www.imx6rex.com/
- Advanced PCB Layout course: https://academy.fedevel.com/courses/...-layout-course
