Pcb esd protection

Hi Robert,

We put our pcb designs in a metal case.
But the esd that will occur during touch makes us nervous.
I fix the pcb and the case together by means of mounting pads.
I use THP in the mounting holes and connect this pad to the pcb ground with a capacitor.
Is this process suitable for ESD protection during touch? Or how should I do protection?

If you are not sure, place on your PCB footprints for all possibilities e.g. 0R, bead, capacitor, then rent ESD gun and try different scenarios. That is how we normally do it.
