  • How to hide 3D bodies when looking at 3D PCB view in Altium?

The 3D PCB view is quite impressive in Altium designer. The 3D bodies look great but get in the way at times. I am trying to understand how to do this:

    1. Make the 3D bodies invisible.
    2. Make the copper pours invisible.

After doing this I should be able to see the magnificent tracks, pads and vias in 3D view. Then I should be able to click on them and select whole tracks (using TAB) and this study the signal in 3D view.

    Can this be done?

You can hide the 3D bodies in the 3D view by pressing the L key to enter the View Configuration.
Go to The View Options tab.
Select Off for the option "Show 3D Bodies".
      Done !
