I have used other schematic capture programs for years, such as Orcad/Cadence, Mentor, but I am new to Altium, so I beg your patience.
The IMX Rex schematic, which is the basis for the Advanced Layout tutorial, has a very large component, the CPU, "spread out" over several sheets. I am looking for the documentation describing how to divide a component into multiple sheets and then use those sheets in the larger schematic, as was done in the example provided by Fedevel.
Yes, I have found several document cases where there is a multi body component created where the parts each have the same graphics and pin structure, as in a quad AND gate. But when there are parts that have different graphics and different numbers of pins the "add part" section of the "tools" menu is not adequate.
