  • Where is the Freescale or NXP library containing the iMX-6 SOC?

Being very new to Altium Designer, I beg your patience.

I have been looking over the schematic for the iMX6 Rex project used in the Advanced PCB design course. In the project, I have not been able to find the library where the footprint for the FCPBGA package is kept in the project. I attempted to find it by looking at library's provided by freescale but with no luck. Unless I am wrong and someone made the footprint for the FCPBGA locally, from the data sheet. At over 600 pins, that would be a lot of work.

Also, I am going to assume that the schematic symbol, since it was made in sections, was made, by hand, by whoever designed the schematic.

Finally, in the Projects->files area of the workspace, I was not able to find a libraries directory.

    Thank You
    Tom
