I'm beginning to understand how to control the circuit board impedance to match the driver output, but what is puzzling me now is how do you match the impedance of the receiver?
If the driver output impedance is 50 ohms, and the trace width has been determined to give 50 ohms, how is it possible to match a receiver of let's say 60 ohms?
Moreover:
Driver = 50 ohms
Trace = 50 ohms
Recvr = 60 ohms
How is this handled?
Thank you!
